Ryan Hakim obtained his M.D. from Loyola University Chicago - Stritch SOM. His goal is to both broaden his research experience and deepen his clinical exposure to neurology as he pursues Neurology training.
Ryan has been directly involved in various steps of project development including IRB and manuscript drafting, direct patient recruitment, literature reviews, and extensive retrospective EMR data extraction. He has science experience stemming from his undergraduate career, when he was involved in alcohol addiction research on behavior and neurocircuitry.
