Do I need the app to monitor someone?
No. Monitors and Accountability Partners can do everything from a web browser: watch results come in, review test videos, manage schedules, and export reports. Only the person taking the tests needs the app and a BACtrack breathalyzer.
Can a breath test be taken in the web portal?
No. Tests are always taken on the phone with the BACtrack View app and a BACtrack breathalyzer, so every result is video-verified and stamped with time, date, and location. The result appears in the portal in real time.
I already use the app. Why would I use the portal?
They stay in sync, so use whichever fits the moment. The app is built for testing and checking in on the go. The portal is built for desk work: reviewing several results at once, managing schedules on a full-size calendar, and exporting reports on a full screen.
What can a Monitor do that an Accountability Partner can't?
Monitors can view results, export reports, and set and manage the testing schedule. Accountability Partners can only view results. You choose the role when you send the invitation, so each person gets exactly the access they should have.
Is the web portal included in my plan?
Yes. Web portal access is included with every BACtrack View plan. Sign in with the same email and password you use in the app. A few features do depend on plan level — PDF report downloads, the number of Connections, and which notifications you can turn on. See the full plan comparison.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The portal runs in any modern browser on a computer, tablet, or phone. There is nothing to download and nothing to keep updated.
